Turkish marriage documents
Evlilik cüzdanı — the original marriage booklet issued at the civil ceremony by the municipality. Contains spouses' names, TC identity numbers, date and place of marriage, and official registration number. May be 4–8 pages; typically only the relevant pages need translation.
Aile cüzdanı — the updated family booklet, which replaces the older format and may include children's records. Same legal standing as the evlilik cüzdanı for USCIS purposes.
Nüfus kayıt örneği — a civil registry extract from the Directorate of Population (Nüfus Müdürlüğü) that records the marriage event. Accepted by USCIS as evidence of marriage when the booklet is unavailable.
